Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Advanced Health Data Analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 499947), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.  They should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.  Preference will be given to those with prior experience in cloud computing, machine learning, or mobile app development. The appointee will develop computational or statistical methods for analysing large volume of health data, including data in electronic health records, medical images, text data, and sensor data from wearable devices and smartphones (Internet of Things; IoT).  For further information, please contact Dr. Joshua Ho by e-mail at jwkho@hku.hk.
